Have you heard their song “Steal My Girl”? The video clip was directed by Danny DeVito and summed up 118 million views in six months. PETA already criticized the band for using a chimp trainer with “history of animal abuse”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That’s not subliminal, that’s as explicit as it gets. That’s treating a human being as a thing, your greatest love as a possession. And in that last sentence they reveal the darkness of their heart<\/strong>, when they openly refer the fear and psychological repression in this relationship.<\/p>\n

The video has 1.5 million likes, which means up to 1.5 million couples worldwide find One Direction’s aggressive words enjoyable or even agreeable. Singing a dreadful lyric just makes it more pleasant to the ear<\/a>, however it doesn’t excuse the message.<\/p>\n
